Chicago Museums? |
Travel Info When I was a little girl (about 15 years ago) my class went on a field trip to a museum in Chicago. There was this huge horse/pony that was made of clear plastic and it was filled with recycled plastic toys and such. I thought it was the Museum of Science and Industry but I was just there and did not see it. They have some other recycling stuff, but not what I'm looking for. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Travel Tips Have to agree it does sound like something the Museum of Science and Industry might have had but again it might have been a temporary exhibit...and they have also re-done some of their exhibit areas so it may have been part of something thats been changed :) There are a couple of other museums that it might have been....MCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) and the Children's Museum....they have been at Navy Pier for awhile but not too long.... Check out the link I am providing as it has links to various museums in Chicago...good luck finding it! Source(s): http://www.chicagotraveler.com/chicago_m... Other Travel Tips I would've guessed MSI as well...I take my kids there often and know they have recycling exibits.... It could've been a temporary exibt you saw at MSI and is no longer there. I'm trying to think at what other museum it could've been and I'm drawing blanks. There's the Children's Museum in Navy Pier? never heard of it at all. |
