Travel Info Is Lincoln park Chicago a nice place to live? Travel Tips If you like urban living, the Lincoln Park neighborhood is probably the best place to live. I used to live on Lincoln Park West, just south of Fullerton, across the street from the zoo and a short walk from the beach. It was close to transportation and shopping and the neighbors were as friendly as any people you could meet. It is a safe and interesting neighborhood. Others Yes, if you have money. Not a lot of "poor" or even middle-class people living around there. The ones with families are rich and the single people have great jobs and disposable incomes (or rich dads). There are lots of bars and shops and restaurants and other ways to spend your money. It's not too far from the park and the lakefront. It's a little too "yuppie" for my tastes, but I guess it's OK. |
