Can you give me a few suggestions on what to do in Chicago for afternoon activity with my girlfriend? |
Travel Info Comming to town June 13th for a cubs game the next day I am 24yrs old Travel Tips The Pier. Go to Navy Pier. Ride the ferris wheel and eat at Bubba Gumps. Shopping, rides, the lake. Theirs also at IMAX. Their is definitely alot to do at Navy Pier. My opinion. Have fun and enjoy the city. GO CUBS!!! Others Gangster Museum Seriously ... Al Capone Museum I was there for an overnight, was pretty fun. You can also, if you want to spend money go to the Sony Factory Warehouse. GREAT prices. The architecture boat tour would be my pick but there are a million things... Grab a drink on the 96th floor of the Hancock... stroll through Millenium Park... Walk around the Lincoln Park zoo and the conservatory... If you like art, you can't beat the Art Institute... go for a pub crawl around Wrigleyville... Rib fest... See the fish at the Shedd... window shop on Michigan Ave... picnic at Oak St beach.... http://www.architecture.org/tours.aspx... http://www.shakechicago.com/site2/chicag... The Lake, Lincoln Park Zoo, Navy Pier, or just walk around downtown.... If you can make a day of it, check out the Museum of Science and Industry (if you're into that, but I think there's something for everyone there). If you don't want to spend a lot of money on parking and admission for things like that, go to Navy Pier, Millenium Park, Grant Park (not sure if anything will be going on there though), Lincoln Park Zoo (admission is free!), or just wander the city. Go to Watertower Place for shopping, but if it's a nice day I'd stay outside! I live there |
