Easiest way to get to Wrigley Field from western suburbs?

Travel Info
We're using Belmont but I wanted to see if you guys had some suggestions

Travel Tips
Take the Cubs Rountripper! I always use it and it's the easiest way to get there and back without driving.

It leaves from either Schaumburg or Lombard and usually arrives 1-2 hours before game time. Drops you off right in front of Wrigley Field and picks up in the same place.

$7.50 (exact fare is required if tickets purchased on the bus)
6 or more tickets are only $5 each!
Kids under 7 are free with each adult fare (limit 2 per adult)

Leaves Wrigley Field 1/2 hour after game ends.

Other Travel Tips
There are a lot of ways really. If you take 90 in, then you can take the Lawrence exit, turn right on Clark and you'll be there. Or if you can also just follow the signs to Wrigley Field that take you on the Iriving Park Rd exit and follow that to a R on Clark.

Depending on where in the western burbs it might be easier to take Metra into Chicago (either Union or Ogilvie Stations) and then catch a red line CTA up to Wrigley Field.
Long time Cub fans who drive have stopped giving driving directions so traffic doesn't get worse on their routes. Belmont is not on too many favorite routes because it is mostly 2 lanes with many stores and bus/truck traffic....just a tip.

I try to NOT drive to drive to the park unless I have parking pre-arranged. CTA is a great way to get there...1/2 block walk. Several park and ride possibilities on the following site:

If you must drive the Cubs have provided 2 parking solutions. The following 2 press releases involve parking a few blocks away and another that involves a bus shuttle. I have used both:

weekend games for fans who wish to combine driving and public transit to travel to the games. #154 buses provide direct service to Wrigley Field from parking lots at DeVry University on Rockwell, a quarter-mile west of Western and a quarter-mile south ofAddison. Service begins three hours before

鈥?| The day of the sale, customers can enter the ballpark via Gate D (at the corner of Sheffield and Addison) and Gate K (on Waveland Avenue). Parking will be available in the Green Lot, located at 1126 W. Grace, just north of Wrigley Field. Payment forms accepted are cash and all major
