Travel Info I'm visiting Chicago. What train stop do you get off of on the CTA Orange Line for Wicker Park? Travel Tips Wicker Park is off the CTA Blue Line, not the Orange Line. To get there you would take the Orange Line (presumably from Midway Airport??) to the Thompson Center. This is one of the downtown stops in the Loop. Once you get to the Thompson Center, follow the signs for the Blue Line as you'll have to go from the elevated train to underneath for the subway. Take the Blue Line (towards O'Hare airport) to Damen and there you are in Wicker Park. Its a simple transfer and you won't be paying any extra. Source(s): http://tripsweb.rtachicago.com/... Other Travel Tips The orange line doesnt come cose to Wicker Park. You will need to transfer to the blue line O'Hare train downtown. Get off at Damen Ave. The train station is located in the Heart of WP. Have fun. Take the orange line and get off at the Ashland stop, get off and get on the Ashland bus going north. Get off the bus at North Ave. You're now in Wicker Park. If you want to get to the "heart" of Wicker Park, walk west a few blocks to the intersection of North Ave., Milwaukee and Damen. It may cost you $4 ($2 for the train and $2 for the bus) but it's faster than going all the way downtown, changing trains and then going all the way back north. None...you have to tranfer to the BlueLine*O'HARE* at Clark/Lake then take it north bound to Divison or Damen on the BlueLine .... |
