I need a good recipe for cooking/frying 17 year cicadas. 10 points for best answer.? |
Travel Info Me and my Uncle are going to drink beer this friday, so we are going to catch at least 20 of these cicadas. But we need a good recipe to really enjoy eating cicadas. Popcorn Chicken style maybe? or whatever good recipe u have. anything taste good when ur drunk right! Thanks Travel Tips I've heard they are best when just hatched. More tender. I'm thinking from the looks of them that they look pretty crunchy already. Try soaking the blooming things in barbecue sauce with hot pepper sauce in it. drunks will pretty much eat anything. Cicada a la Mode Ingredients 2 pints Softened vanilla 5 ounces dutch chocolate, shaved crushed vanilla beans 12 teaspoonscherry liquour 16-20 cicadas Scoop pre-softened ice cream into serving dishes. pour three tablespoons of cherry liquour over each dish, sprinkle with shaved dutch chocolate. Take 4-5 cicadas and place on top of each dish. Smash with your fist until cicadas are unrecognizable because seeing a whole cicada in a dish of ice cream is gross. Serves 4 heard newly hatched cicadas taste like canned asparagus so i guess... add them to a marinated salad ! Cheers! |
