Travel Info Where is the best store to shop on Michigan Avenue in Chicago? Travel Tips Saks 5th avenue Others That's any easy one. I love shopping at Burberry's & The Coach Store on Michigan Ave. There isn't really a "best" store because they all sell different things. I mean how can you compare the Apple computer store to Neiman Marcus? Or the Nike Store to LL Bean? They're all pretty much different. Just walk up and down the street to see. If you have to pick one place to shop, go to Water Tower Place. You can hit a bunch of stores in one stop. NORDSTROM!!! It is the best!! plus it is in sort of a mall- so there is a forever 21, sephora... a food court, the lego store and a bunch of different places- it's AMAZING!!!! i usually spend a whole day just at nordstrom!! plus- the people that work at nordstrom are SOOO nice and extra help full. If you are interested in going off of Michigan ave... go over one or two blocks and you will find a bunch of boutiques, bakeries and great stores!! Two streets over there is an Urban Outfitters... ummm... there's a Puma store and a MAC cosmetics store, I love to eat at the Corner Bakery- they are all over Chicago... Johnny Rockets is pretty good if you like fast food. they are a classic burgers and fries kind of place... delicious. It's kind of a retro place. My favorite restaurant is called Tucci Benuch... not too many people know about it. Its an Italian restaurant and it's absolutely fabulous... I'd recommend the baked spaghetti- Alfredo!!! get an Italian soda and you are set!!! Its inside of Bloomingdale's- on the 4th or 5th floor!! it's amazing italion food!! Be sure to check out the Crate and Barrel on Michigan Ave... be prepared to drop some cast while in there! HAVE FUNN!!! TIFFANY & CO. go to Crate N Barrel...lots of fun. |
