Travel Info Can some one give me a name of a good but cheap chicago restaurant. Thanks (No chains like McDonalds KFC etc.) Travel Tips Buca de beppo, Ed Debevic's, Mother Hubbards has some good food, Tuscany for Italian food and Roddity's for Greek Food. Chicago is BIGGER THAN HUGE... give us an area of chicago and we can better give you an answer. do you mean: downtown, north side, south side, suburb of chicago, etc. If you mean downtown/michigan ave, there is no cheap. Go for chicago pizza at Uno's/Due's or Gino's East. Not real cheap, but worth the price. There are also TGIF's and Bennigan's around (also not cheap). Ditka's, etc are all expensive. I agree with Cheesecake Factory. It is probably my favorite place to eat. All the food is so good. experience I think if you want genuine Chicago, but cheap, you should go with deep dish pizza - any Giordano's location, which are all over the city, would be fine - or a genuine Chicago hot dog at the Weiner's Circle on Clark Avenue. |
