People from Chicago always seem interesting to me......^_^

Travel Tips
Life is what you make it no matter where you live. There is a lot to do in Chicago, especially in the summer. A lot of it is free, but you can pay through the nose to eat at these events and parking can be a nightmare. Best to take public transportation, which can also be a nightmare.
With all there is to do in Chicago, one can still become isolated and lonely. I was born and raised there but moved to the south about eight months ago. I wanted a change.
Chicago has a diverse population, but is fairly racially divided into neighborhoods or communities that are mostly safe to visit: Chinatown, Greektown, Devon Avenue (middle eastern people, inexpensive restaurants with authentic food that is reasonably good) Lincoln Park (yuppies) Downtown Chicago (Michigan Avenue and State Street) are where you'll find shopping in the city, but there are dozens and dozens of malls in the nearby suburbs both north and south of the city.
Parks (Grant, Millennium, and Museum) are all downtown and sponsor free events most of the year.
Navy Pier is a great place to find lots of free entertainment and good restaurants. Lots of events sponsored there.
Zoos (Lincoln Park and Brookfield)
World class museums (Science, Natural History) the Adler Planetarium, the Shedd Aquarium and the Art Institute. Lots to do.
Chicago can be a great place to live.
Winters are too cold though. Source(s): Transplanted Chicagoan, born and raised. I really don't miss it.

Fun for me
I grew up there , Chicago is an interesting city , but it can be very dangerous . The people can be cold and clickish. I still like the all of the sport teams from that windy city. White socks , bears I have forgotten the hockey teams name , but you get the idea . I f you know people there it can be tons of fun. You always have a white Christmas and that is priceless.
Well, to tourists, Chicago may be very exciting, but to people who live there and are in Chicago EVERY SINGLE DAY, life's pretty boring. There are many things to do though. Museums, Lake Michigan, and other stuff. You should come visit.
Chicago? my mom goes there everyday! for work of course. y r u even asking? it is a wonderful place! full of stores. oh, i love 2 SHOP! anyway, life in Chicago is soooo much fun. They have these buses where u can sit on the roof, they have taxis and many landmarks. King Tut is evne there! (maybe they took it down..idk) anyway, it can be noisy but sometimes its not. u can visit parks and if u have an animal like a dog u could play frisbee with ur dog in a park. (u could c the sears tower everyday!) i wouldnt say Chicago would be the best place 2 live. there r many hobos and after trucks and buses pass through all night. it could keep u awake. call someone who lives in Chicago. they could tell u more. The ups and downs!!
Depends on you being fun and exciting or boring. You sound boring. A fun and exciting person would not even know of YA, let alone be on it. Everywhere you go everything you do will always be dull and boring. Get use to it, I have. Welcome to YA. The place that if we all had a life or something better to do we would not be.
