East 33rd street Chicago IL, I think Lake meadows is near there I'm not sure but is it safe? |
Travel Info the apartment complex the address is 500 East 33rd Street, I just want to know is it safe and if it easy to load furniture. Travel Tips Rainvamps - I used to LIVE in that building (about 20 years ago when I first got married)!! And still have friends who live in the area. Yes, the area around that building is safe (it is in a complex of high rises). A lot of the areas around there (east and south of Lake Meadows) have been gentrified (lots of new housing/condos, businesses) but you may want to to be cautious if you go around 35th Street. As far as loading furniture, call the realty company that manages the building. When I lived there the freight elevators had to be reserved in advance and could be used only during certain hours of the day. I loved living in that building. The building was clean and well cared for. It was quiet. Also, near the Lake and parks. The area also has good public transportation (buses, Red and Green line trains). Others If you mean the Lake Meadows apartment complex, yes, it's very safe. I have relatives and friends that live there. Very nice apartments. They are all high-rises so I'm sure they have freight elevators to get furniature up to the higher floors. |
