The 38th annual Lakeview celebration features floats, bands and politicians. Festivities also include parties and picnics along the lakefront.

The parade starts at Halsted Street and Belmont Avenue and proceeds north on Halsted Street to Broadway, south on Broadway to Diversey Parkway and east to Cannon Drive.

This coming Sunday. It starts around Clark and Halsted but the best street to view it is Broadway Street between Diversey and Belmont. Lots of bars to hang out in and watch the action.
