Travel Tips If you are expecting to do any family outing type things, start planning them NOW. Start calling places and making arrangements. If you wait too long, you might find that the week or day you want is no longer available. Boat cruises, tour boats or buses, even park or forest preserve areas have to be reserved in advance for overly large groups. start figuring out what you're going to want to do and figure out what you have to do to secure it. Even check out the hotels and motels they will be staying at or restaurants. for all you know, some convention commitee may have already booked it. You can't just walk up to a place with 50 or more people and expect everything to go smoothly. Others take a lot of pictures and put together a digital memmory book that can be emailed to all the participants at a later date. Have fun and stay hydrated!!!! I think you should have it in a park for Friday and Saturday. Sunday would be something formal, like in a banquet hall with a program. Have someone sing, dance group, say a poem, tell something about themselves, etc. Just have some fun. Before you all start each day have someone to pray. God Bless you & your family. DO NOT GO During The Taste, at least for a reunion, Go to the tatse for your self and immediate family. The city gets crowded and you dont get to enjoy it. Find a time that of course works for most of the fam and its always SOMETHING going on in the SHY |
