Is the Marriott hotel In Chicago , Marriott Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile, rooms very small?

I was just wondering thats what i hear and if so what is a really great hotel around that area?

I've nver stayed at the Marriot Mag Mile, but my parents ahve, and they haven't complained. I've found that most downtown Chicago Hotel rooms are smaller than expected. Just last weekend, I stayed at a new hotel for me, the Chicago City Center Hotel and Athletic Club. it used to be a Holiday inn, so the rooms still have that feel. i thought the hotel was great! Indoor and Outdoor pool, good vies and great location. The rooms (we had two double beds) had space to move around, and had a chair and window seat. I think it is about 6 blokcs from the Marriot, closer to Navy Pier.
