The above answer doesn't really make sense. The front half of the orchestra level is closer to the stage, yes, but the back half is at the same distance to the stage as the dress circle. I personally think the front row of dress circle, in the center, are the best seats in the house. If I were seated on the orchestra (main) level, I would opt for seats in the center section, at least five rows back from the front. If you're closer than that, you'll be craning your neck to look up at the stage.
Others
I saw Wicked and the Orchestra seats would be better. The Dress Circle is TOO close to the stage Being in the Orchestra allows you to see the whole stage.
