Can I take the Metra blue line to the Allstate Arena in Rosemont? |
Travel Info I'll be coming from the Kankakee area Travel Tips I don't believe the Metra service extends to Kankakee, but I know Amtrak most definitely does. I think you'll have to take an Amtrak train into the city and them the Blue line out to theRosemont CTA station. The Metra train also stops in Homewood so if you know a way to get from Homewood to Rosemont, you could try that. But as far as Metra in Kankakee, don't think so. Source(s): http://www.amtrak.com/servlet/contentser... Other Travel Tips I don't know about the Metra going out to Rosemont, but I would suggest just taking the Metra downtown and then making your way to the Blue Line to O'Hare which takes you right by the Allstate Arena. The Blue Line will not be too far from LaSalle or Union Station, which is probably where your train will get end. It's not called the Metra Blue Line. Their is a CTA Blue Line and a Metra train. Their is a CTA Blue Line station in Rosemont near Allstate Arena. I do not believe their is Metra service down in Kankakee but your best bet is visiting their website www.metrarail.com |
