Has anyone ever seen a concert & sat on the lawn at First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre,Tinley Park, IL-see below?

Travel Info
How was the view and how was the crowd? Thanks!

Travel Tips
View isn't too bad, they have huge screens over the stage so you can see what's going on a little closer-up, even though you're far away. A bit of advice, get there EARLY, some of the seating is obstructed viewing, but if you get there early and get up against the fence towards the center you should be good.

I saw Tom Petty there....it was okay.
The lawn seating has greatly improved since the early days when it was the New World Music Theater - though your views on the lawn can be somewhat blocked if you are further back. Your best bet if you are sitting on the lawn is to try to try to get as close to the pavillion as possible.
