Travel Tips
First of all.. Hats off to you!!!!. I don't believe in living too long in any place if I don't like it. Now, there are sometimes circumstance in life that will per vent one from moving/or ever moving all together. I have been in every state but (4) four. I have lived in so may cities until I know what state I should/or what to live in for the rest of my life. However, at the present time I'm living in Texas. Due to aging relatives, I moved from Washington state to help them.. I gave up my real estate careen and so much more... I can't wait to move back..
I am going to give you some suggestions from my experiences of moving. Here are just some moves I've made. Moved from up-state New York to Salt Lake City, from Texas to California (four times),from Texas to Washington state (two times), from Texas to Alberta, Canada. And a few more.Go on the web and send for information about Chicago. Source(s): When your information about Chicago comes in,try to locate at least three areas that you woulk to move too, make a to do list:information on changing drivers license, car tags/registration etc., down-size as much as possible(have a garage sale),put expensive items on e-bay,if you are moving by car get AAA-Plus it has a trip contience if something happens to delay you while traveling(accidents etc.),make sure you have your car checked out (belts checked etc. don't let the machanic know you are leaving town unless you trust him, box-put on pallet-ship things by Amtrak they will srink wrap it,try to secure a job before time, arrive in the summer, only talk to postive people about your plans, save as much money as you can, organize all important papers, resume, birth certificate, passport, important contacts, let someone that you can trust know your whereabouts, pack clothes (if travel by car) you can wash, pack another section for interviews, when you arrive try not to look like a tourist or new comer, stay away from run down neighborhoods at night I hope this helps you out. Have fun.. GOD BLESS YOU!!
