Can anyone, who has been to China, recommend seeing or doing something amazing? |
Travel Info READ THIS, I know there are the Forbidden Cirty, The Great Wall, The Yangzte River, the Terra-cotta army, but do know other other COOL sites? Travel Tips If you really want to feel like you have experienced China, go outside of the "touristy" sites and try something that a real Chinese person would do. example: travel by boat from one of China's ports to the next country you are visiting. I did the China-South Korea trip and it was amazing to say the least. (the snack man on the boat was selling fried grasshoppers on a stick) I think meeting other Chinese traveleers was the most amazing thing I did on that trip. Others Guilin Li River Shangri-La Harbin Ice Festival Huang Shan West Lake West lake in Hang Zhou (Hang Zhou and Su Zhou were refered as the best places to live in the old days and were known as "paradise") 涓婃湁澶╁爞锛屼笅鏈夎槆鏉紒 It's a Chinese idiom means "There is heaven in the sky and there are Su (Zhou) and Hang (Zhou) on ground" Zhou Zhuang near Su Zhou Huang Shan (near Shanghai) Li Jiang in Yunnan Qufu in Shangdong (The hometown of Confucius (Kung Zi) - his tomb and house) and you can also visit Tai Shan then Qingdau.
