What othre place beside Forbidden city will not be available for trourist this week end??

I am going to Beijing this weekend and someone told me that Forbidden City is under renovation. Will this mean totally close for tourist, and are their other places that wound be open this weekend?

That somebody has misguided you by passing on incorrect information about the complete closure of the Forbidden City.
Only parts/sections of it that are undergoing restoration/renovation are closed to the visitors,the rest of the colossal city,is, by all means open to tourists.
