Travel Tips As most areas of Tibet are located at fairly high altitudes, you may want to bring some medication that can treat the effects of altitude sickness. You should talk to your doctor prior to going. It's also cold there so you should pack some warm clothing and don't forget to bring a hat and some sunscreen. There are a lot of beggars in Tibet so it would also be nice of you to bring some candy to give to the kids as a treat.
