It experiences all four seasons, with freezing temperatures during the winter and about 32 degrees Celsius( 90 degrees Fahrenheit) during the summer. However, try going to the grocery on a saturday afternoon. You will agree with me, it is more lke 21 million with migrant workers. The summer months are coming now. The "huang mei tian" or plum rains are coming. that is about a month of dreary rain. the temperature in the summer is stinking hot. 36 C up to 41 or 42 C. In fahrenheit that would be 95 -101 degrees on hottest day. Wait til fall to visit. More pleasant then. Think October and November. Overall Shanghai is a rich city. However there are plenty of poor people here. Like any other city in the world. safe travels and best regards... i should say i live in shanghai .there are really many people in there,about 17 billion . i really hate the climate of shanghai. it is hot in summer. |
