Travel Info If i want to visit Taiwan or Hong Kong, which month will be the best rate for the air ticket? Travel Tips Avoid the season that people which people travel a lot!! These days are NO good: February--The Chinese New Year June-August--Summer Holiday for students X'mas I recommend you go there on Spring Break, the weather is good at that time in HK, fares are not bad (I once traveled to HK on Spring Break for $535) Sept and Oct are also good Avoid Summer in HK, Westerners would not like the summer in HK Others October is the best rate as the Typhoon season come to hit both place, nobody wants to go there. November around Thanksgiving time. Ticket is cheaper (before Dec 14). Hotel is cheaper as well if there is no convention of any happens during the month. The weather is nice and cool in Nov. In addition, it is close to Christmas. A lot of sales happen in HK and Taiwan. You can travel any time to Hong Kong from any where but always remember not to travel in High season like in JUNE,JULY b'coz of summer vacation in school other wise any time is the best time. Travel Agent March and April November are definitely the off peak season for travelling to HK and China. You can usually find a better rate with travel agency in Chinatown comparing to any online price. |
