Travel Info Q1.What are the most important traditional Chinese instruments common in orchestras? I have seen bamboo pipes, qin and their own cymbals? Q2. Chinese vocal songs that I heard (though I don't follow lyrics) seem to be somewhat "solo" in a uniform-pitched voice? Is that a tradition out there? Q3. What are the most common song themes for younger crowds - romance? I want to know names of some famous pop artistes who have a household appeal. Q4. Finally, you know any websites where sample popular songs can be free downloaded? Travel Tips yes the all the traditional songs are only vocals yeah kinda solo and its always a woman with a really loud voice singing.. and in china the modern music in only pop they dont have any other genre.. well you can ask a hip-hop cd or rock and they will give you a singer that is a "rock star" but when you have a listen you will understand that it is POP.. and there is a really good band called Mayday in english i dont remember the chinese name sorry.. they are singing kind of good..
