Travel Tips
There are probably a variety, but I would suggest the sacred ground of Mt. Koyasan as a place to start. It is deep in history, secluded in the mountains south of Kyoto and Osaka, and well-known for offering shukubo, or overnight stays for foreigners including traditional (vegetarian) food and morning service. I know there is a one in Hong Kong. It's named Po Lin Monastery. If they haven't change their policy, you could ask for staying in there. Of course you have to book it before you go.
