Beijing and the Hard Rock Cafe? |
Travel Info I will be there in one week. What is so great about it? I would like to know some places to go where a business man can chill after the long flight. Travel Tips BJ Hardrock Cafe is next to the Landmark Tower on the 3rd Ring Road East. It's also next to the Great Wall Sheraton. Features Live Music (Filippino Band, real good though a bit loud) and a Retro Night (70s & 80s) every Wednesday. Good decor though beer prices tend to be relatively high. After 11PM expect a huge number of hookers there, so either leave before then or enjoy that kind of environment, depending on you preferences. Source(s): Been living in BJ for 5 years now. Other Travel Tips your a gay aren`t you There's a beautiful lake, located quite centrally, that has bars along the waterfront. It's called 'Houhai' and a lot of Western and Chinese businessmen go there to relax. In the Summer you can sit outside. Live music too. It's a definite. The other hangout / bar area is called Sanlitun. It's another collection of bars and clubs, this time on the east side of town, near the business district. Not the pleasant view over the lake but fun in its own right. Clubwise, i can recommend one called 'Banana'. Classy and vibrant. Like most Chinese clubs there are a lot of hookers. hope this helps |
