I don't quite get your question, but I am in China and I was in Shanghai not so long ago. I was very impressed with the modern buildings there and went up the Jin Mao Ta (Tower) to the observatory on the 88th floor. (A few years ago it was the tallest building in the world).

Of course Shanghai is always busy before or after 8.00pm , and when I visited The Bund I went across The Huangpu on the ferry. I did buy some silk clothing on my visit. Very memorable.

mabe some silverneer like a statue, painting, famous word saying, teddy bear, pencil, clothes, shoes, keychain, picture...ummm many more.
