Looking for the village, Xuajiulan , in Shaanxi provice of china.? |
Travel Info Hello, I am trying to locate a village called Xuajiulan in the Shaanxi province of China. I would like to find it on a map or anywhere that i can find some hard facts about the village and its location. Thankyou Travel Tips Are you sure it is spelt "Xuajiulan"? The "Xua" sound doesn't occur in Pinyin (the standard way of writing Mandarin sounds in English). Without knowing the exact pinyin spelling, it's hard to narrow down what the characters might be and therefore where the village is located. Here's a list of sounds found in Pinyin: http://www.zhongwen.com/s/ziyin.htm... I'm guessing that it is a small village named after a family. I noticed a site on the web claiming it is 28 miles west of Xi'an, but scrolling around an online Chinese map of the area, I couldn't see any small villages with Characters that sounded like "Xuajiulan". Though, with such rough directions, I could have easily missed it (or the village may have been too small for even the detailed map I was looking at). Others it is outside of the city of xian sorry i cant give you much because these small villiages are nearly impossible to find |
