China prepaid sim cards?

1. I have not used a prepaid sim card for 3 months, has it be disactivated? and if yes, how can i get it reactivated?
2. Anyone knows the cost of an sms, from China to another country, on a prepaid sim?

The validity of the SIM will depend on how much money you loaded in it from time to time,with each Yuan 100 you charge it with,it's validity gets extended by 3 months.
The best thing is to check up your credit balance and validity when you call from your China Mobile to 13800138000 and then press 2 for instructions in English,the prompt will guide you through.
However if the SIM is expired,it cannot be re-activated or renewed,instead purchase a new one,it costs Yuan 50 only and then charge it with Yuan 100 or so.International SMS costs around Yuan 2 per message.
