I'm going to hong kong this summer, is stuff there really that cheap? |
Travel Info and where would i go, or what should i buy Travel Tips If you shop in HK--check out their local brands. Not the stuff that you can buy here in the US. I found a department store that had a HUGE jeans collection (Seven, Citizens, Joes, etc), but the prices were 2-3 times as much as in the states. But local brands were a good deal. But if you want cheap deals, you may want to try the Ladie's Market in Monkok. Its basically an outdoor street market with a bunch of knock-offs. You can also do a lot of bargaining there. Other Travel Tips Actually when I was in Hong Kong last I found that the prices were outrageously high - much higher than the comparable items in the U.S. Hong Kong is a major metropolitan city, so it is not much different than shopping in another other large city like New York and London. I think the only thing I found there that was a relatively good deal at the time were pearls from the South China Sea. Good luck and have a safe trip! Stuff are Cheap, but most of them are knock off and bad quality stuff. I got a really cool belt for $10 usd and it broke apart after 2 days, you get what you paid for . but T shirt is a deal man u should buy there cell phone, it is sooo much cooler than american cell phone. u will see cell phone that the usa dont have because the usa have to wait until another 3 yeah than they can have it. but than if u buy it it mite not work. uummm try out there dimsum cuz it is ymmo. clothes are pretty there and there style is soo cool and soo much different from american. oh yeah remember to go to there new disney land.u r gonna have sooo much fun there. it is soooo fun there and even though it isnt done yet but they still have some cool ride that u will loves. trust me u will have fun there. well have fun on the trip |
