Non-smoker in a smoking hotel room?? Does it even matter? |
Travel Info In most of the hotels I've been looking at the smoking rooms are $10.00 cheaper, which is weird, but if I'm a non-smoker will it really matter if I book a smoking room? Is there usually a smell or anything that I could even notice the difference? If not, 10 bucks off a night is worth it I think? Travel Tips Personally, I would rather pay the $10 a night to avoid the smoking room. I have bad allergies and one hotel I went in only had smoking rooms left. I didn't think it would make much of a difference. But I was pretty miserable for the whole trip because of it. Really, it just depends on you. If you don't like the smell of smoke, I would try to avoid it. If you have allergies or asthma, I definitely would stay away. I have been in some hotels where they have a machine that is supposed to take the smell of smoke away. If the hotel has one, you can request them to use it in your room before you arrive, but I don't know how well they work. |
