Christmas trip ideas? I have a few days off at Christmas....? |
Travel Info and would like to plan a small getaway, preferably not too far from home, maybe visiting a small qaint town with lots of christmas spirit and activities, I live in south east Ky, and I don't want to visit Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg Tn. Any ideas?? Travel Tips I would go to Georgetown Kentucky near Lexington. There is a really cool Bed and Brealfast that you can stay at that is called Blackridge Hall. My wife and I have stayed there. You are a few miles from the Ky Horse Park, Lexington is very cool and has lots of good restaurants and is very nice to just explore the area. There is a great restarurant called the Merrick Inn in Lexington that is very good. Lexington is beautiful and would be just what you are looking for. Good question -- hope this helps. |
