Travel Info I am going to Cincinnati in July. What is there to do? Travel Tips As far as food goes.... Cincinnati Chili: There are two main restaurant chains that sell it: Gold Star Chili and Skyline Chili. Graeter's Ice Cream: They make it fresh every day. So good! LaRosa's Pizza: unique pizza Try www.Cincinnati.com , where you can search for events by date. Cincinnati (and Newport, KY which is just across the river...and you can easily walk over a pedestrian bridge from Cincy to Newport) has a lot of events/festivals in the summer times. They have a lot of concerts at Riverbend Music Center also. Riverbend is right next to Coney Island, a family amusement park (not big on thrill rides, more classic rides...bumper cars, paddle boats...great fun for kids though!) If you're into bigger rides/roller coasters, check out King's Island, which is about 20 min north of the city (you can take a bus) |
