I just returned to Cincinnati, where are all the intelligent black people.? |
Travel Info there are no shows, plays or concerts like it used to be. What happened to Cincinnati? Travel Tips People have left that city in droves. Rising unemployment caused the crime rate to go up, not to mention is a hugely racist city. The cops are horrid there. The jobs that people do have are underpaid and you get treated like dirt. Trust me, I worked there as a paralegal. No amount of money on the planet could get me back there. One of my friend's neighbors was a librarian, mid-40s black woman. Met her a few times, a great lady, intelligent, kind and gracious. She left because she couldn't take it anymore and moved to Seattle. I worked with a young, very attractive female black attorney. Despite the fact that she would always dress as befit her status, she couldn't get a cab to stop for her when her car (a BMW, no less) had broken down. She came into work and she just sighed and told me what had happened. She and her husband moved about three months later. I don't blame her.
