Where to go in cincinnati or columbus? |
Travel Info I am looking for clubs and fun places to go in cincinnati and columbus. As far as clubs, I like a diverse crowd and diverse music, sometimes a little more upscale, but also relaxed. A couple of the places I have been to are Fabric (in Columbus) if that is still around, and Newport Aquarium... a few more I can't remember. Somebody also told me about a place called the Black Pearl Poetry, what type of place is this? What about Jillian's? Also, where do a lot of the young international folks hang out? Let me know what there is to do... Travel Tips There is no longer a Jillians in Cincinnati but there are tons of places to go to in the area. Metropolis is just outside of Cincinnati and has several floors and types of music. Northern Kentucky has tons of places to visit and is right across the river from downtown Cincinnati, you can try Arnie's, the Hofbrauhaus, Jeff Ruby's Tropicana, Bar Louie or Ticket's Sports Bar. Arnie's has a little bit more upscale of a feel. Hofbrauhaus is German, and usually has a live band on the weekends. Tickets has an upstairs dance floor which is typically open on the weekends. A little bit further into town is Bobby Mackey's which is a country dance club complete with mechanical bull. There is also Mainstrasse Village which is lined with bars and provides a great place to bar crawl. Mt. Adam's is also fun and is in Cincinnati. Also as a side note, if it matters to you or anyone in your group Cincinnati and surrounding areas are now completely smoke-free, while Northern Kentucky is not.
