Travel Info i am moving to cincinnati in june with my wife, we are looking for some safe neighborhood and nice place to live in preferably new apartments/townhouse. Travel Tips It's a little further than the rest of the places that everyone mentioned, but I grew up in West Chester and loved it. Mason and Monroe are also nice...all have good schools. West Chester has newer apartments and townhouses near Beckett Ridge...at the corner of Smith and 747. Most people who work in Cincinnati and want quiet, new and safe commute from the northern suburbs. West Chester is the next community after you pass "Touchdown" or "Big Cheese" Jesus going South on I-75. If you don't know what I am talking about yet...you will :) Wherever you move, enjoy Cincinnati. We left it 3 years ago for my husband's job (we come back home ALL the time) and I am just counting the days til I can move back Others look in the delhi,area, and hyde park, and fairfield. all with in 15 min. of westwood. fairfield is newest for townhouse's and apt. complex's I live on the west side of Cincinnati and have for 25 years. I'm not sure how much you are looking to spend but apartments/townhouses/condos are readily available just about anywhere. Do you have any kids (where the school district may come into play)? There are new condos (easy way to earn equity) right off of I-74 on Rybolt Road - about 15 minutes from Westwood and in a good neighborhood. This area is more suburban-like. There are also many other options all over the place. It just depends exactly what you're looking for. Check out this local Realtor webiste and narrow your seach down www.sibcycline.com. To be honest, sometimes buying a condo can be just as cheep as renting an apartment. I, personally, wouldn't rent if I knew my stay in Cincinnati would be anything but short term. Hope this helps. |
