Inexpensive activities kids will love in Cincinnati? |
Travel Info my husband and i are taking our 3 kids and my friend is going with her little girl. kids are ages 7 (girl), 6 (boy), 3 (boy), 1/2 month (girl) Travel Tips There are a lot of parks in Cincinnati. When are you coming? If you look on a particular website it will tell you all the activities and events for the week you are planning on visiting...if you give me a minute I will find the website for you. What area in Cincinnati are you visiting? It's a large city and you don't want to drive from one end to another for something small. There is a magazine you can pick up at Kroger that tells you all the activities around here. The zoo is great, I suggest packing a lunch and eating while watching the elephants. You can park on the street and not have to pay for parking. Catch a Red's game if they are in town, the cheap seats are pretty cheap and the ball park is brand new and lots of fun, even my two year old enjoys going. The Hamilton County park district does programs that are interesting and they run all the time. The parks are great, especially Parkey's farm in Winton Woods http://www.hamiltoncountyparks.org/parks... Parkey's arc is great to if it's open when you come. If you have any questions about Cincinnati feel free to email me, I've lived here for over 10 years and have three kids so I know most places if you want to know if they are worth visiting. Others I lived in Cincinnati for two years and there is not a whole lot for kids to do there. You might want to cross the river to Kentucky where the aquarium is. There is the Cincinnati zoo to go to, the kids and are where not very impressed. Check out the website @ cincinnati.com |
