I am planning a family vacation to Cincinnati to see the Reds and go to the zoo.? |
Travel Info Is there a place that anyone is aware of that might accomodate four adults in two bedrooms. I'm looking for a suite that might have two bedrooms or even a nice cabin. Anywhere around the Cincinnati area is fine with me. Travel Tips Radisson Cincinnati Riverview Hotel is located actually across the river from Cinci in Covington Ky.use the 5th St exit of I-75 on the Ky side. This hotel has a beautiful view of downtown Cinci's skyline plus on top is a revolving restaurant .You can walk across the Roebling bridge to the stadiums or the hotel offers a shuttle over to the stadiums Also ,drive north on I-75 to ex. 5 and follow the signs to the zoo(park inside the zoo's parking lot and not on the street as they have security watching the lot) Also don't forget the Newport Aqairium and Newport on The Levee as they have a lot of family friendly entertainment and the restaurants located on Riverboat Row(I recomend "Eat at Joes" ,great food!!) In Covington is what 's called Mainstrasse Village as they too have a lot of restaurants and a friendly atmosphere located in a historic district. On the river is B&B Riverboat cruises where you ride on on a boat and have dinner cruises. It is a laid back ride up and down river and is fairly inexpensive.Ya see on the Ky side of the "River" is a whole lot less crime and the people are also more friendly. Well I could go on and on about what there is to do and where to go but I need to go to bed. So here is the # for reservations,1-800-333-3333. Hope ya have a GREAT TIME AND ENJOY " MY TOWN!!!" Source(s): Lived in Cinci for 46 yrs and my Father helped build this hotel and I have rented a room with a riverview for our annual Labor Day fireworks show. GUARENTTEE YOU WILL LOVE IT THERE!!!! Other Travel Tips I've only been to Cincinnati once so I don't know a whole lot about it. But, we are going to a wedding there soon and we are staying at a place called the Terrace Hotel. It's downtown, within walking distance to the ballpark. I think it is like $120/night for the double suite (we're taking our three kids so we need lots of room!) Their address is: 15 W 6th Street Cincinnati, OH 45202 888-279-8260 Good luck! The Westin Hotel I hear is the closest hotel to the baseball stadium. Cincinnati has quite a few hotels and they have a range of different prices depending on how much you are willing to pay. Try hotels.com to get an idea of each hotel will cost you. There are some hotels in Cincinnati which give you free breakfast. While in Cincinnati, you can stop by King's Island Amusement Park or Coney Island. King's Island is about 25 miles north of downtown Cincinnati. The Beach Waterpark is also close to King's Island. Try the Garfield Suites downtown. http://www.garfieldsuiteshotel.com/... check hotel.com and look at sharonville, ohio. and fairfeild, ohio. they are 15min. north of downtown cincinnati, and they have several nice and affordable hotels there, and they have pool's and it quiter, and safer. hope you have a good time here when you come here. |
