What are some things for kids to do in Ohio? |
Travel Info We want to start taking them on one day trips so they can see the state, a few we have already thought of are The Caverns Camping The Zoo any others? Something that doesn't involve JUST shopping all the time. Kings Island I would head to Cedar Point Amusement Park; my brother has been there a bunch of times and loves it. http://travel.sulekha.com/ohio/cincinnat... There's things that appeal to boys, girls, whole family. Planetarium ... get their schedule of what they will be showing, and book ahead for very popular ... like what was in the night sky when baby Jesus was born Natural History Museum The old Railroad Station has been turned into a museum, that is worth visiting King's Island? Boating Cincinnati has a road tour, with special signs to point you along the way ... it takes you to various overlooks on crests of the hills so you can see the valley below ... and thru many parks all over the city ... then later you can return to some of those parks to make it a while day trip There's periodic River Front mob scenes ... you could book a downtown hotel for one of them, watch the fireworks from a comfortable site. Did you know there's a restaurant where the top of the hotel building is rotating ... sit down for meal, and get to see changing panoramo of whole city. Dayton not too far way ... Wright Patterson Air Base has Air museum ... remember the wright brothers? |
