Well it depends on what you are interested in. I think there are great things all over for different people. Add additional comments to let us know what you are looking for.

My favorite thing to do is the West Side Market. I think its a perfect place for lunch, people watching, and a completely unique experience. The building is beautiful, and the neighbhorhood it is in is really cool too. There are some cool shops, cafes, and bars here. I really can't imagine someone who wouldn't like this place. It is perfect for all ages and people. I think this important to visit because the market and the immediate neighborhood here really says "Cleveland" to me. Things like the Rock Hall are awesome to visit, but it isn't a "Cleveland" experience.

The market is very convenient to get to. and free ample parking is available right behind the market on Lorain. From I-90 you get off at the W.25th Exit and head north, From Rt. 2 you get off W.25th and head south, and from downtown you take the Lorain-Carnegie bridge into Ohio City.

I would put a show by the Cleveland Orchestra at Severance Hall in a strong second. This concert hall is without question stunning. Honestly, if you don't like orchestra, you will still be amazed with the concert hall. The Cleveland Orchestra is regularly regarded as the top orchestra in the country.

I think the main things to see/do to get a feel for Cleveland would be Tower City, Old Arcade, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and maybe a few of the museums in University Circle. A lot of people love a good show at Playhouse Square or a game at Jacobs Field or the Gund. All these things are great.

The best places to eat and drink in the city are probably in the Warehouse District. It is generally very classy, but if you aren't interested in this kind of trendy and occasionaly wild scene, I would recommend Little Italy or Shaker Square for an evening.

You can walk downtown and enjoy the sights and take pictures of Tower City, Public Square, Old Arcade/E.4th, Civic Center, Rock Hall, Warehouse District in about a half hour. Add more time depending on how long you spend in Tower City, the Rock Hall, or getting a meal.
