Has anyone been to the Rock & Role Hall of Fame? What do you think? |
Travel Info Has anyone been to the Rock & Role Hall of Fame? What do you think? Travel Tips I think the Rock Hall is definately something to see. It is an awesome building, designed by a world famous architect, and right on the lake. The museum gets extremely mixed reviews. Some people love it and they wanted to spend the whole day there, and others don't like it. I myself haven't been there in a while. My impression is that even though it is ten years old, it is still a relatively new museum and their collections aren't too large. However, I can't imagine another place having more Rock memorobilia than the Rock Hall. The gift shop is also amazing. It is worth seeing and coming in to town to see, but just don't go with too high of expectations. While this is often cited as the number one thing to do in Cleveland, there are many excellent things to see and do. The Rock Hall is one of things you have to see (at least once), but make a whole a weekend in Cleveland and not just a day at the Rock Hall. Others I have not been there in awhile, but I was not too impressed. I thought there would be many more things to see. i gotta say, i dig it, and i didn't expect to. i passed through cleveland on a roadtrip a couple years back, and ended up being there on whatever day of the week the hall is open late. i'm glad i was, because i ended up staying there for hours, until the late closing time. yes i have and it was great!! If you're coming to Cleveland anyway, go. There's not much else to do besides Cedar Point and the Put-In-Bay. iys amazing I was there quite a few years ago and I was not impressed at all. |
