Have you ever been pulled over for "speeding" on I-480 in Cleveland with out-of-state plates?

Travel Info
I have a temporary job in Ohio, and my car still has Michigan plates b/c it's not permenant, but I've been here for 2 yerars. Got pulled over yesterday in North Olmsted on my way home from work. Speed limit is 60, and I'll admit I have a bit of a lead foot, but I have definitely learned my lesson after having lived here and driven the same way to work for 2 years. I was in the left lane, there were 2 cars next to me in the middle lane and I could see the cop pullling away from the shoulder into the right lane a little bit ahead of us. I was trying to change lanes when he pulled me over. HE HAD TO SLOW DOWN TO PULL ME OVER! He said I was going 75! There was NO WAY I could have been going that fast and anyway, he was moving! He basically told me that he pulled me over b/c they want my money! And the SAME COP pulled me over 3 weeks ago told me I was doing 75 then too. I KNOW i wasn't going that fast, but I just paid the ticket.
Has this happened to anyone? Is it b/c I have MI plates?!

plate have nothing to do with your speeding i used to patrol that area for OSP we allow 13 over the limit.next time you need to ask for calibration of radar or laser and certificate of operator knowledge and use of it they will not get pissed off but will allow you to engage the officer and perhaps give you a break

thats reallly funny
Try flashing him next time - works for me!
That sucks.... My dad says they're being mean because they have nothing better to do. They pulled him over for not using his turn signal to change lanes. He wasn't doing anything else wrong!
It happens because you are speeding. Can you prove you were not going over the limit? Anything over the limit is speeding in court.
Yeah...never go over the speed limit on 480 in N Olmsted. Sometimes there will be 3 or 4 cops in a small area one after another. Also best bet is to stay in the right lane there. You could try to contest the ticket. Since the cop was moving, they need a specific type of radar to check your speed. I have a friend that did research on this because the cop that pulled him over was on the other side of the highway. He went to court to contest it and the cop was not there, so he won.

Also the "grace" for miles over the speed limit in Ohio is between 5-10 miles over. Cops on 480 pull over for about 7 miles over, so be careful.
