I would like to take my family on a railroad train ride somewhere in northeast Ohio Any info? |
Travel Info I need info on any passenger trains in the akron Ohio about 100 mile radius just wanting to take my 6 year old on a real train ride for the fall monthes to see the changing of the leaves and some pretty country Travel Tips The cuyahoga valley has a train that stops. Its the one that the other two told you about. But, Boston Mills (near the ski resort) has a train. Sometimes Hogwarts express will stop by or if your 6year old likes Thomas the train, some times he'll stop by. But, in the fall, they do special packages. Like wine and cheese (maybe not for the child) and its gorgeous around oct. 6 or so. have fun! This train goes through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. And it's VERY close to Akron. It may actually go through Akron at certain points, but I don't know for sure. go to www.cvsr.com.
