I currently Live in Cleveland and lived here all my life...? |
Travel Info I have lived in Cleveland for 26 years. My boyfriend is from Pittsburgh and we visit his family all the time. I LOVE to go there and when I do I don't want to come back. LOL. I have a great job as well as the pay is good. I am affraid to move and lose everything I have going not to mention he is doing well with his job...What should I do? Travel Tips I grew up in Cleveland (even went to cleveland public schools! yuk lol). I just moved to Orlando about 4 years ago & want to move again. I moved away because I wanted something different. I was tired of all those bad kids at school & homeless people downtown begging for some change. I am 25 now & still haven't found a place I like yet. I miss walking the trail at the Rocky River park or sneaking to Edgewater to meet some friends at midnight. I DO NOT like living in Orlando, but if I could mix the good of both cities together, it would be perfect. Maybe you should make a list of Pro's & con's of, "if I moved to PA". Some Pro's may include: New scenery, new job, new house, etc. Some con's may include: you find out you have same problems as you did in cleveland Others My advice is: don't move to Pittsburgh unless you end up marrying this guy. You don't want to move away from Cleveland, leaving all your friends and family behind, and then, three months later, break up with your boyfriend and get stuck in a new city, not really knowing anybody. There is no rush. In time, you will know the right thing to do. well if there is no way to transfer give it a little time and see if you can land a job before you leave and put some money away. i wouldn't want to move from clev to pitt, clev is a good town, i'm from columbus and recently moved to charlotte. i wanted to try something different and i like it here but i miss home. just leave your job on good terms and try something new, you only live once! i hope he is going to be in the picture for a while..good luck. if its love then move, its just a job, you can get another one, but love, that doesn't alwasy happen. Good luck. Before you leave, you should look at job openings in the area to see if you two could get good jobs in your line of work there. Keep in mind, you may love it there because it's not your home. It's a relatively new environment, and you don't have to worry about the stresses of cleaning and cooking and bills and work while you're there. If there's a chance that when you go there to stay, reality could remove the enchantment you have with the city, I recommend you just stay in Cleveland and dream of moving to Pittsburgh. See if u can transfer. Or If u really want to move start searching for a job over there b/4 u quit the one on cleveland. I live in cleveland also and believe me anywhere is better than cleveland when u lived here to long. Take risks, who know it might be for the best. Good Luck If you job is the only thing keeping you in Cleveand, LEAVE!. Jobs are a dime-a-dozen. I say leave with him! Why stay somewhere that you dont want to be? If you love it in Pittsburgh go, they have so many more interesting things in that state than in Ohio. Hell if you dont like it there, its easy to move back. So try it! |
