Travel Info
I am going to Cleveland for a concert on December 4 and I want to know what I can do in Cleveland's CBD before the concert. I have already visited the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Great Lakes Science Center. Also, what are some good restaurants in Downtown Cleveland?

the zoo is always nice. from DT take 71 south to w25th (fulton bridge is closed) make a right off 71 till you cross the w 25th bridge (you cant miss it) the zoo hill is directly after the bridge make a sharp right down hill to zoo enterance its open every day.

majoraca on 6th i think ...decent food
fat fish blue
house of blues didnt really impress me.
or better yet....go on 13th and st clair and hit freddys bbq get the polish boys. this is your typical hole in the wall bbq joint but its so damn good. get extra napkins!

Tower city is a good time waster . lots of shopping and a theatre food court all the regular mall type things. public square behind the terminal tower. the big pointy building thats sinking.! you used to be able to take a little tour thing to the top of the terminal ...not sure this was a few years back it cost like $2.00

if you have a bit more time drive down euclid ave till you hit mayfield(mayfield is right past main hospital University hospital) hang a right to murry hill area u cant miss it...its called little italy great food shops and bakerys...its about 10 mins from DT with light traffic. Mama Santas pizza......all I can say

west side market is good to wander around in...its closed on tues thurs and sundays and its more of an early bird thing. they have prepared foods as well as fresh so...its a plethora of goodies in one stop. from DT take carnegie west across the lorain carnegie bridge ....once you hit w 25th ...find a place to park theres the market...its called market square they have a ton of stuff to explore. the gargae bar (w25 just north of the market bldg same block) is pretty cool.
something diferent is a local artist gallery (also same block) they have some nice stuff. there used to be a glass blowing studio around back of the gargae you can check if its still there im not sure. all about 5 mins from downtown and right around the corner from here is great lakes brewing company...good beer good food and good prices. its on the opposite side of w25 down a little alley type street from the market. I cant remember the name but its right there you cant miss it.

and aubon pain in the BP tower...200 public square thats the brownish bldg that goes from euclid to superior ...au bon pain is in the annex area awesome cookies...also find one in the lobby of 600 superior well its either 600 or 800 they are right next to each other either way ...damn good cookies.

you can also check out Davids in the marriot ...well its been awhile it used to be good this is at 127 public square. around back off st clair.

barristers on the square over in the far north west corner of public sqaure by 55 pub sq isnt bad either.
hyde park steak house at 101 w prospect is good too.
stay away from the hard rock here it sucks as*.
um there are no indians games in december guys, so id take the Jake out! - maybe the browns game on the 3rd, but there isnt one on the 4th sorry. cavs arent in town when you are visiting, hockey isnt in town either. i would go shopping personally at tower city, or crocker park (spelling again, sorry!) its really nice -

pretty much any rest. downtown is good. panini's (spelling might be off) is really good, their sandwiches are killer and its cheap. - winking lizard is a wing place with a bar - honestly, in december, i wouldnt come that early for the concert, come in the late afternoon when you can eat and then attend your concert.
Tower City to shop, downtown, and their are several museums if you enjoy culture, such as the natural history museum, the art museum, their is always the zoo very cold however still enjoyable and close to downtown. Visit the Flats during the day. Good luck and have fun. Bring all of your winter gear, it is extremly bitter cold in Cleveland in the winter season God bless
one of the biggest art museums, car museum, you could have snow or at least cold weather, the onimax theather is great see what they are playing also it is not to far from the science center
