Is the "west side" of Cleveland safe?

Yes, the west side is safe...as usual, always take precautions, but I think it is MUCH safer than the east side, particularly downtown. The warehouse district is there, and is very upscale and trendy. I grew up in the western suburbs which were all very nice and safe!
