Canton's not a very big city. Sorry. I used to live near there & my hubby went to U of Akron... people there don't seem very open to people they don't know. Sorry.
there are many great things to do in cleveland and ohio. Also there is a bike trail from cleveland to akron by metro parks trails. awesome in the summer and a cool ride most of it is though the trees. You could hook up with a bike group that goes on weekly trips.
the metro parks is a great place for hiking and biking, also horseback riding. I am sure that there is an enterance near canton

But canton is small. If you work or go to school see if there is someone interested in working out.

Most people I know around here are on the myspace site and not into answering questions, let alone think that cleveland would be one of the topics

well i am not what you are looking for but go to bars and clubs and you'll faind somebody who is over weight and needs to go to the gym with you. but don't go up to someone and say will you work out with me? that would annoy people. hope this helps. sorry i am not much help but i hope.
