Travel Tips go skiing/snowboarding of course! mad river is located near columbus. and snowtrails is an hour north right off of 71. - it has snowtubing too- which is really fun - buckeye basketball games bluejacket games shopping concerts ice skating movies go out to eat go out to bars Others probably nonthing but go to hockey or basketball games. Not much. There are some museums and the Palace Theater and ofcourse Buckeye games and Blue jacket Games but thats about all. I lived here my whole life. Well you cant forget the um-teen number of malls that we have in the area that you can go to during the winter. You can go and look around - it doesnt mean you have to buy something! Gotta love winter in Ohio! lots of places to eat..my personal favorite. plus if you are a kid a heart or enjoy some gaming, magic mountain, there is one at polaris and one off of brice road. dont forget about the malls. and of course blue jacket hockey and buckeye basketball and hockey. it really depends on what youre into. there are always the random clubs, and the neighborhood joints. one good place to look is columbus alive paper, they have all kinds of goings ons in there from gallery openings, info on performances, exhibits etc. i am a former dancer so im really into the arts. there are also concerts and stuff that happen too. osu campus is always a good place to get into trouble. there is the bluejacket games. it just depends on what your looking for. there are also alot of family friendly activities here. indoor zoo exhibits, cosi, etc . its no big city fun, but it could be worse! |
