Things to do.? |
Travel Info I'm going to Cleveland this summer, and I've never been before and don't really know much about it. What are some must see or do things in Cleveland that you would reccomend? Travel Tips Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame (definitely), Tower City, W.6th street-clubs All three are downtown. Must go to Cedar Point! It is the home of the Worlds Best Rollar Coasters (and the best beach around Cleveland) It's about an hr. from Cleveland. It's something to do for a day. (Two days) If you stay overnight in Sandusky you can go to Cedar Points Soak City, the water park. They have the Best waterslides. Lakewood, Rt. 2 (Lakeshore) will take you there. There are over 100 bars and tons of restaurants within 2mi. Westlake cab can take you all around there for less than $5 (if your moving from one place in Lakewood to another). Stay on Madison and Detroit Rds. Coventry is really cool. It's the name of the street next to Little Italy, but everyone calls it Coventry. Eat at Que Tal if you go, they have the best burritoes ($6) Pick up a Scene magazine, they can be found all over the Cleveland and the suburbs and they are free. It has everything to do in it. The House of Blues has great food! The best beaches are Mentor Headlands and the one behind Cedar Point, both are a little less than an hr. away from Cleveland. The Cleveland Museum of Art is beautiful and free, open Tue.-Sat. The Metroparks is a huge park system, good for a drive. Source(s): I've lived around Cleveland my whole life. Other Travel Tips Catch a baseball game or go to Cedar Point (worth the drive). |
