Most of these are in Ohio, and some a bit of a drive, but worth it: Sandusky- Cedar Point, Lake Erie Marblehead Geneva-on-the-Lake Maumee The flats area, Cleveland COSI-Columbus The Columbus Zoo The Wright Air museum- Dayton Hocking Hills-Logan King's Island- Cincinnati The Cincinnati Zoo Cincinnati Art Museum Chicago, New York, Pittsburgh, Washington D.C., Gatlinburg, Tenn., are all easy drives. Depends on what part of Ohio you're starting from. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Cleveland Zoo Columbus Zoo Art museums in Cleveland and Columbus History Museums in Cleveland and Columbus Six Flags-kindof expensive-Sandusky Metroparks-The entire state Malleys Chocolate Factory-Cleveland Pierres Ice Cream Factory-Cleveland Playhouse Square-Cleveland The Flats-for dinner,drinks and dancing in Cleveland Niagara Falls, New York (outside of Buffalo) is about a 5 hour trip. Not a lot to do, but you should go for a day. LM has a good list. I'd like to add Put-in-Bay. |
