Avon Lake Ohio?

Has any1 been or living in avon lake because i am thinking about moving there... i want to know if its a safe town and anything you know about it realli, and also how near is the nicest beach? anything will be helpful.

Avon Lake is a beautiful area, and a really good choice. Bay Village, Avon, Avon Lake, Westlake are very nice areas with good, strong communities.

Huntington Beach is right nearby, as well as other beach areas. I wanted to buy a home in Avon Lake before we moved out of state.

Oh, and EXCELLENT school systems, plus it has lower tax rates than the metro Cleveland area.

I agree with Pixychix. Avon Lake is a wonderful place to live. I grew up in the area and loved it. There is only one thing to be concerned about. If I remember correctly the ODH (Ohio Department of Health) was called upon to investigate the high rate of leukemia cases in the area. I don't know if they've come to any conclusions but you may want to look into it.

Like I said, I lived in the area my whole life up until a few years ago and would move back in an instant.
